Health
At Hawes, we have extensive experience in managing refurbishment projects for the health industry, and have worked with some large and busy hospitals, whether that be to create consultation rooms by forming partition walls with fire and sound insulation, or forming a new ambulance bay for the A&E department.
We have worked on different sites simultaneously and have dealt with different sets of managers, each with their own priorities. We have worked to restricted working hours due to noise constraints during daylight hours, yet our highly organised approach means that we will always aim to meet targets, even on the most challenging of projects.
We use a combination of our own direct labour force and subcontractors to complete hospital refurbishments and builds, which can include works such as strip out, structural alterations, drainage works, partitioning, plastering, MF ceilings and decorations. In addition, carpentry works may include hanging new doors, fitting specialist hygienic coved skirting and installation of IPS panels. We can also carry out diamond drilling services if required.

Education
We have much experience in working within the education sector, and have carried out many refurbishment projects in a range of educational settings. Such examples include extending a school assembly hall, building a fire-rated corridor, creating a new learning resources room, adding new toilet cubicles, kitchens, flooring, final finishings and much more.
We can plan effectively to meet requirements that may be specific to an individual setting and we can work on different school sites simultaneously if required. We are able work to restricted working hours due to noise constraints during lesson hours, and we will always strictly follow safety requirements and procedures. All of our staff are DBS checked.
